This Dodge Pickup got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1947 Dodge WD-21 is a one-ton pickup which was acquired by the seller as a running project out of South Dakota in 2002 and has since been partially refurbished. The truck is finished in green and black over a gray interior, and power is provided by a 230ci flathead inline-six mated to a three-speed manual transmission with an additional compound low gear. Service in 2019 included replacement of braking and cooling parts as well as the exhaust system, valve cover gasket, and other items. This “Job-Rated” WD-21 is offered in Ormond Beach, Florida with records from current ownership and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The body was refinished in green and black by a previous owner and features a two-piece windshield with a visor, cowl lamps, vinyl door graphics, and embossed “speed lines” on the lower rear fenders. The seller notes corrosion in the pickup box and a crack in the passenger-side windshield glass as shown up close in the gallery below.

The wheel bearings were also repacked and new seals installed, while refurbishment of the brakes included turning and repainting the drums along with replacement of the shoes, master and wheel cylinders, and rubber lines.
