This 1949 Chrysler Windsor convertible is finished in red over red and white upholstery and is powered by a 251ci inline-six paired with a Fluid Drive semi-automatic transmission. Features include a tan soft top, dual side mirrors, 15″ wheels, whitewall tires, a cabin heater, a push-button AM radio, and a chrome grille, bumpers, and trim. The car was acquired by its current owner in 2014, and subsequent service included replacing the wiper motor and the seals for the rear axle and pinion as well as refurbishing the radio. This Windsor convertible is offered by the seller on behalf of his father-in-law with a shop manual and a clean Minnesota title.

The body was refinished in its current shade of red under previous ownership and equipment includes a tan canvas soft top with red welting, dual side mirrors, a vented cowl, a chrome grille and bumpers, and bright trim accents the rockers, hood, and fenders. The wiper motor was replaced in 2014. The seller notes that the power top opens partially and stops, and a rear reflector is missing. Body-colored 15″ steel wheels wear chrome Chrysler hubcaps and Broadway Grand Prix whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. Paint chips are visible on the wheels.

The cabin features front and rear bench seats trimmed in red vinyl with white cloth inserts joined by a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Interior appointments include a push-button AM radio, a heater and defroster, and vent windows. The radio was refurbished in 2014. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer surrounded by temperature, amperage, and oil pressure gauges, and an aftermarket coolant temperature gauge is mounted beneath the dash. The fuel gauge does not work. The five-digit odometer indicates 42k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.

The 251ci inline-six was factory rated at 116 horsepower. The oil pan gasket was replaced in 2014.
