This Chevrolet Advance Design Pickup (1947-1955) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 is a five-window pickup that is said to have been acquired in 2009 as a partially completed refurbishment that was subsequently completed during current ownership. Work included repainting the truck green, reupholstering the bench seat in maroon vinyl, and replacing engine components. Equipment includes green-finished steel wheels, whitewall tires, a wood bed floor, and chrome bumpers. This 3100 is offered at no reserve with a Kansas title in the seller’s name.
The fenders, running boards, tailgate, front bed panel, bedsides, door seals, rear window, and side windows are said to have been replaced during the refurbishment and the truck was subsequently repainted green. Features include a chrome grille and bumpers, black running boards, and a wood bed floor with metal runners.
Green-finished steel wheels wear polished center caps and Coker Classic whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
The dashboard was reportedly replaced during the refurbishment, at which time the interior metal surfaces were painted gray and the bench seat was reupholstered in maroon vinyl.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames replacement instrumentation including a 90-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 367 miles, all of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 235ci inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Work during the refurbishment is said to have included replacing the horn and fuel sending unit as well as cleaning and sealing the fuel tank.

A Kansas Assigned Identification Number plate is affixed to the truck and lists number KS117130, which matches the VIN displayed on the Kansas title. An antique vehicle brand is noted on the title.
