1951 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Truck

This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 panel truck is said to have remained with the previous owner for approximately 60 years and was acquired by the seller in 2022. The truck is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 235ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes blue-finished 15″ steel wheels, a split tailgate, black running boards, an Offenhauser intake manifold, dual carburetors, a 12-volt electrical system, and a Magic-Tone radio. Work under current ownership is said to have included cleaning the fuel tank and rebuilding the carburetors. This 3100 is offered with a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted blue under previous ownership. Details include a split tailgate, dual side-view mirrors, black running boards, chrome bumpers with overriders, and polished dual exhaust outlets that exit behind the rear wheels.

Blue-finished 15″ steel wheels feature polished accents and are mounted with 235/75 Toyo Extensa A/S II tires that show 2021 production date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.

The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl and are equipped with lap belts. A Magic-Tone radio is fitted in the dashboard, and black carpeted mats protect the floors.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket wrap and fronts an 80-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 96k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The rear cargo area features black carpeting, woodgrain paneling, a ceiling vent, and tie-down hooks.

The 235ci inline-six is fitted with an Offenhauser intake manifold, dual carburetors, a Wayne finned valve cover, and a 12-volt electrical system. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. Recent work is said to have included cleaning the fuel tank and rebuilding the carburetors.

The rear differential is said to be equipped with 3.55:1 gears. Corrosion is visible on underbody components.
