This Ford Thunderbird (1955-1957) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1956 Ford Thunderbird was acquired by the seller out of Mississippi approximately seven years ago. It is finished in red with a matching hardtop over two-tone vinyl upholstery, and power comes from a 312ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a Continental kit, a Vintage Air A/C system, aftermarket AM/FM radio, electronic ignition, rear wheel spats, and 15” wire wheels. This Thunderbird was featured in the 2014 film The Historian, and is being offered with a removed intake manifold and Holley carburetor, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The 312ci V8 was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. A Holley 390-cfm carburetor and intake manifold from a 1957 model were installed during previous ownership, while work during current ownership has included replacement of the fuel pump and the installation of electronic ignition. The removed carburetor and intake manifold will accompany the vehicle. A leak from the transmission linkage is noted by the seller.
