This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is finished in Raven Black with a black soft top over a red interior and powered by a 312ci V8 paired with a two-speed automatic transmission. Features include a black removable hardtop, Town and Country AM radio, an aftermarket FM transmitter, a power seat, power brakes, power windows, wire wheels, rear fender skirts, and a dual-outlet exhaust. The car has reportedly remained under the care of a single family since 1957. Work since 2019 is said to have consisted of a brake service and cleaning the fuel system and carburetor as well as changing the transmission fluid. This Thunderbird is offered with a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The car is said to have been refinished in Raven Black during the 1990s. Features include a removable hardtop, black convertible soft top, hood scoop, rear fender skirts with bright rock guards, chrome bumpers with integrated dual exhaust outlets at the rear, hooded headlamps, angled tail fins, and fender louvers. Wire wheels with three-eared knockoff spinners are mounted with whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted drums at all four corners. The brakes were reportedly serviced and bled in 2019.

The cabin features a bench seat that is trimmed in red vinyl with pleated inserts along with matching door panels and carpeting. Equipment includes a power seat, power windows, a Town and Country AM radio, a heater/defroster, Thunderbird-branded rubber floor mats, and an aftermarket FM radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring and frames a 140-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 40k miles, approximately 35 have been added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.

The D-code 312ci Thunderbird Special V8 was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The engine is said to have been refurbished in the 1980s and service in 2019 is said to have consisted of cleaning the carburetor and fuel system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a two-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Corrosion is visible on underbody surfaces.
