This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in black with silver coves over a black vinyl interior and powered by a carbureted 283ci V8 paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Equipment includes full-face wheel covers and whitewall tires, a power top and windows, an AM radio, air conditioning, and power steering and brakes. The car is said to have been refurbished in 2002 and was acquired by its current owner in 2013. This C1 Corvette is offered with manufacturer’s literature, books and manuals, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The seller states that the fiberglass body was repainted in Tuxedo Black with silver coves in 2003. A black power convertible top is fitted. Brightwork includes chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, windshield washers, and fender badging.

Steel 15″ wheels are equipped with two-eared knockoff-style covers and mounted with whitewall tires that show 2013 date codes. A spare is located in the trunk. Power-assisted steering and brakes with a dual reservoir master cylinder have been added under current ownership. The brake fluid is said to have been flushed in 2021.

The interior features seating surfaces upholstered in black vinyl as well as a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Additional equipment includes a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, power windows, a heater, an analog clock, courtesy lights, a Wonderbar AM radio, and air conditioning.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer along with a centrally oriented 6k-rpm tachometer flanked by an ammeter and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 1,800 miles approximately 650 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 283ci V8 features Corvette-branded valve covers as well as dual four-barrel carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a two-speed Power Glide automatic transmission. An alternator has been added. Service in 2021 included an oil change and replacement of the coolant.
