This Volkswagen Beetle (1958-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1961 Volkswagen Beetle is finished in Gulf Blue over a gray interior and is powered by a 1.2-liter flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. The car is said to have been originally sold by Dahlke’s Volkswagen of Meridian, Mississippi and underwent a refurbishment during previous ownership in the 1990s. It was acquired by the seller in 2009 and reportedly received a refresh of the brake system in preparation for the sale. Additional equipment includes a roof rack with wood slats, VW-logo mudflaps, 15” steel wheels, and a bamboo underdash parcel tray. This Beetle is now offered with an issue of the January 1998 VW Trends magazine in which it was featured, along with a tool kit and a clean Louisiana title in the seller’s name.
