One-Family-Owned 1962 Cadillac Sedan DeVille

This 1962 Cadillac Sedan DeVille was reportedly purchased new by the seller’s aunt from Carlson Cadillac in Twin Falls, Idaho and was acquired by the seller in 1982. The car is finished in Driftwood Beige over a Sandalwood interior and power is provided by a 390ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes air conditioning, a two-way power-adjustable front bench, and an AM radio. The belts have been replaced and an oil change has been performed in the last 600 miles. This Sedan DeVille is now offered with factory literature and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Driftwood Beige (46) with rear fender skirts and chrome bumpers. The passenger quarter panel is believed to have been refinished previously. The power antenna is non-functional and photos in the gallery below document paint chips around the body along with areas of corrosion on the bumpers.

A set of 15″ steel wheels wear factory covers and are wrapped in 235/75 Dean Alpha IV Season tires.

Seating surfaces are upholstered in Sandalwood leather with cloth inserts, and the cabin also features a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a two-way power-adjustable front bench, air conditioning, an AM radio, and power windows. A stain on the front seat is shown in the gallery below.

A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer that indicates 25k miles, approximately 4k of which have been added by the seller.

The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The seller states the belts have been replaced and an oil change has been performed in the last 600 miles. An oil leak from the rear of the engine is noted to be present.
