This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in tan over matching vinyl upholstery and powered by a 327ci V8 mated with a two-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a body-colored removable hardtop, color-keyed coves, 15″ wheels with spinner-style covers, whitewall tires, chrome bumpers and trim, a dual exhaust system, an electric clock, and a Wonder Bar AM radio. The seller acquired the car in 2017, and subsequent work consisted of servicing the carburetor and brakes, performing an engine tune-up, and rebuilding the transmission. This final-year C1 is now offered with transferrable New York registration.

The fiberglass body is finished in Fawn Beige and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include a body-colored removable hardtop, left-side mirror, color-keyed coves, quad headlights, split chrome bumpers, cast rocker panel moldings, and a fender-mounted antenna. The windshield wipers do not work.

Steel 15″ wheels wear covers with simulated knock-off spinners and are mounted with Goodyear Integrity narrow whitewall tires. Braking is handled by hydraulic drums at all four corners. Brake components are said to have been serviced in 2017.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan vinyl with channeled inserts joined by a color-keyed dashboard, door panels, and sun visors. Features include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, an analog clock, a heater and defroster, lap belts, polished sill plates, and a Wonder Bar push-button radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a sweeping 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 96k miles, approximately 4k of which were added during current ownership.

The 327ci V8 features an aluminum air cleaner assembly and ignition cover as well as an orange engine block, intake manifold, and valve covers. The carburetor is said to have been serviced in 2017.

An engine stamp and serial number are shown above.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a two-speed automatic transmission. A dual exhaust system is fitted, and the transmission is said to have been rebuilt under current ownership.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its New York registration.
