1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Spyder Turbo Convertible

This 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Spyder convertible is said to have been acquired by the seller’s uncle in 1970 and stored for several decades before being passed to the seller and moved to California in 1999. A refurbishment begun in 2010 included a repaint in blue, a new convertible top and upholstery, replacement cylinders and heads, brake work, and more. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and modifications include a Hurst shifter, chrome accents, and 17″ wheels. This Corvair has appeared in a number of Southern California shows under current ownership and is offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
