This Chevrolet Corvette C2 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in Daytona Blue with a white soft top over a silver interior and is powered by a 327ci L76 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and Positraction rear differential. The car is said to have been refurbished during previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2013. Features include four-wheel drum brakes, a Delco-branded AM/FM radio, pop-up headlights, a body-colored hardtop, and chrome bumpers and trim. This C2 is offered with a removable hardtop and Texas title.
The fiberglass body was reportedly refinished in Daytona Blue (916) in 2019. Styling includes a white convertible soft top, chrome split bumpers, hidden headlights, fender vents, and cast rocker-panel accents. The body-colored hardtop is shown in the gallery below.
Turbine-style 15″ wheels are secured with three-eared knockoffs and mounted with 215/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes. The tires are said to have been installed in 2019.
The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in silver vinyl with matching door panels, a console lid, and a contrasting black dashboard, carpets, and floor mats. Features include a vertically-mounted Delco AM/FM radio, an analog clock, an ashtray, and lap belts for both occupants.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, amperage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 1,700 miles, 200 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was factory-rated at 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque and features Chevrolet script valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and horn-style exhaust manifolds.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear differential.
