This Ford Mustang 1964.5-1966 got away, but there are more like it here.

This Ford Mustang coupe was produced on June 20th, 1964, and is said to have been refurbished around 2002 before being acquired by the seller in April 2016. Service work since 2019 involved refreshing the suspension and replacing the tires, radiator, starter, and battery. The car is finished in black over red upholstery and is powered by a 260ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, a center console, and a push-button AM radio. This Mustang is now offered with an owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Raven Black (A) and was reportedly repainted under prior ownership. Equipment includes side mirrors, Mustang and 260 badging, and chrome trim on the bumpers, window surrounds, and rocker panels. Paint and body imperfections are present along with corrosion on the lower sections of each door.

The 14″ steel wheels wear full covers and are wrapped in 205/75 Hankook Optimo thin-whitewall tires that were reportedly installed in 2017. Braking is handled by power-assisted front disc brakes, rear drums, and a dual-reservoir brake master cylinder. Suspension work completed under current ownership in 2019 consists of replacing the shocks, control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, and strut rod bushings. A full-size spare wheel is stored in the trunk.

Corrosion on the trunk floor was addressed in preparation for the sale, and images showing its prior condition are provided at the end of the gallery.
