This 1964 International Harvester Scout 80 was acquired by the seller in 2019 and has since been refurbished and modified with a repaint in green and fitment of a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional modifications include a custom roll cage, RacePak instrument cluster, JL Audio sound system, Ticon Industries stainless steel exhaust system, multi-link suspension with King shock absorbers, tan racing-style bucket seats, four-wheel disc brakes, Dana axles, and more as described below. Recent service is said to have involved replacement of the oil pan gasket, front main seal, intake manifold gasket, spark plugs, power steering pump, and water pump. This modified Scout is offered with a clean California title in the seller’s name.

During the refurbishment, the body was reportedly removed from the frame, stripped, sandblasted, and refinished in Porsche Peridot Green with black lower decals. Equipment includes a custom tubular roll cage, steel bumpers with a Rough Country 9k-lb winch, LED headlights, dual side-view mirrors, and 1/4″ frame-integrated rock sliders. The seller reports recent replacement of the door seals and windshield.

Jeep-sourced 17″ Mopar steel wheels wear a black finish and are mounted with 295/70 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM3 tires. The factory leaf-spring suspension has been removed and replaced with a custom multi-link system utilizing Dana 30 front and 40 rear axles, King 2.0″ Emulsion coilovers, a Synergy heavy-duty drag link kit, and RockJock sway bar and control arm components. The truck is also equipped with four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes that feature stainless steel lines and a Corvette-sourced master-cylinder and proportioning valve.

The custom interior features tan vinyl Tanaka racing-style seats with contrasting diamond-patterned stitching. SeaDek marine flooring lines the footwells, while black bed liner material has been applied to the dashboard and center console. Additional equipment includes a 12-volt charging port, Kilduff shifting components, and a JL Audio Bluetooth receiver and speakers linked to an MTX Audio amplifier. An aluminum 20-gallon fuel tank is located in the cargo area.

The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a Racepack IQ3 digital gauge cluster featuring four display screens and OBDII connectivity. The digital odometer shows 600 miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The 5.3-liter LM7 Vortec V8 was reportedly sourced from a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban and features an iron block and aluminum cylinder heads as well as a custom air intake, and an aftermarket ECU tune. It is equipped with a Wizard Cooling aluminum radiator and electric fan. Recent services are said to have included replacement of the following components:
