This 1964 Volkswagen Beetle was acquired as a project by the seller in 1995 and underwent a restoration that spanned the next two decades. Work included replacing body panels, installing heavy-duty floor pans, and repainting the car in the factory shade of Java Green, as well as reupholstering the interior, refreshing the brakes and suspension, resealing the four-speed manual transaxle, and rebuilding the numbers-matching 1,200cc flat-four. This Beetle is now offered with the removed factory wheels, spare parts, a tool kit, manufacturer’s literature, parts receipts, photos from the restoration, a letter from Volkswagen, and a South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
