This Chevrolet C/K (1960-1966) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1965 Chevrolet C10 is a ½ ton long-bed pickup that is powered by a 454ci V8 equipped with a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and long-tube headers. The truck is finished in teal with a white roof, and the interior features two-tone tan and beige vinyl upholstery, a Grant steering wheel, air conditioning, and a Kenwood CD stereo. Additional equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, aftermarket 15″ alloy wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, polished headlight covers, an aluminum radiator, and a wood bed floor. This modified C10 was acquired by the seller in 2019 and is now offered at no reserve with a vinyl tonneau cover, hand-written service notes, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in teal with a white roof and features polished bodyside accents. Diamond-pattern trim plates have been installed in place of the wing vent windows, and additional exterior details include polished headlight covers, Iron Cross-style mirrors, a black vinyl tonneau cover, a tan-upholstered tailgate pad, and a wood bed floor with metal runners. The seller notes the right front slat on the wood bed floor is in need of replacement. There is a dent in the passenger door, and other blemishes can be viewed in the gallery below.
Polished 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 275/60 Hercules H/P 4000 tires. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums that were installed in 2020.
The bench seat is trimmed in two-tone brown and beige vinyl upholstery and accompanied by brown carpets and a beige-painted dashboard and door panels. Lap belts are installed for each occupant, and the truck is further equipped with air conditioning and a Kenwood CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity linked to Wertz speakers in the doors.
The Grant GT steering wheel sits ahead of a steering column-mounted Sun Super Tach tachometer along with a vertical-sweep 100-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. Additional readouts for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 454ci V8 was installed under prior ownership and features a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold and air cleaner assembly, and long-tube headers. An aluminum radiator is also fitted. The battery was replaced in August 2022 and the oil was changed in June 2023.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission that is said to be equipped with a B&M shift kit. The transmission fluid and dipstick were replaced in January 2020, and a transmission leak is noted.
