327-Powered 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Coupe

This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS sport coupe was built in the Oshawa, Ontario, assembly plant in Canada and was acquired by the seller in 2008 and subsequently refurbished. The car is finished in gray over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock air intake and valve covers, an aluminum radiator, chrome Boyd Coddington 20″ wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, a Hotchkis sway bar, quad blue-dot headlights, an Alpine head unit, and aftermarket speakers. This Chevelle Malibu SS is now offered in Canada with British Columbia registration in the name of the seller’s spouse.

The car left the factory finished in Glacier Gray (W) and is said to have been media-blasted and repainted blue under current ownership. Details include quad blue-dot headlights, chrome bumpers, and dual exhaust outlets as well as 327 and Malibu SS badging.

Five-spoke, chrome-finished Boyd Coddington 20″ wheels are mounted with 245/30 Nitto Invo tires. Braking is provided by front and rear discs paired with Wilwood calipers. The car is equipped with a Wilwood brake booster and a Hotchkis Sport Suspension sway bar.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl. Appointments include bright dashboard trim, Chevelle and Malibu SS dashboard badging, an Alpine head unit, and aftermarket speakers.

The woodgrain steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.

The 327ci V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock air intake and valve covers, an MSD distributor, a polished intake manifold, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The car reportedly was serviced in April 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.
