This Ford Bronco U13/U14/U15 1966-1977 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1966 Ford Bronco Roadster was acquired by the seller in January 2022 and subsequently refurbished over a reported 14-month period. Work is said to have included overhauling the 170ci inline-six, refinishing the truck in blue with a white roof, reupholstering the seats in silver vinyl, and replacing braking, suspension, and exhaust components. Additional equipment includes a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, 15″ steel wheels, white bumpers, and a folding windshield. This U13 Bronco is offered with rolling roof and door stands, an owner’s manual, refurbishment photos, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory finished in Marlin Blue and during the refurbishment, the hood, rocker panels, front fenders, windshield, and windshield seal were replaced before the truck was repainted. Details include white bumpers, a drop-down tailgate, and a folding windshield.

Steel 15″ wheels wear aftermarket hubcaps and are mounted with 7.00-15 Power King Extra Traction tires. The front axle is equipped with locking hubs, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The seller states that the shocks, front tie rods and bushings, steering stabilizer, master brake cylinder, wheel cylinders, and the brake lines, shoes, and springs were replaced during the refurbishment.

The front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in silver vinyl, the front and rear floor panels and interior firewall insulation panel were replaced, and the interior metal surfaces were repainted during the refurbishment. Additional work included replacing the dashboard switches, bezels, and knobs along with the ignition switch, door locks, and the defroster air ducting and hoses.

The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer with perimeter supplementary gauges. The odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 170ci inline-six was overhauled during the refurbishment. Work is said to have included installing a PerTronix electronic ignition system as well as replacing the following components:

  • Carburetor
  • Fuel pump and gasket
  • Spark plugs and wires
  • Valve cover, oil pan, and water pump gaskets
  • Heater hoses and control valve
  • Condenser
  • Ignition points
  • Exhaust components
  • Various hoses and belts

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Work during the refurbishment is said to have included painting the frame and replacing clutch components and the body mount bushings.

An uninstalled roof and doors with fabricated rolling stands are included in the sale. The seller states the window and door handles as well as the door and roof window seals were replaced during the refurbishment.
