1966 Lincoln Continental Sedan

This 1966 Lincoln Continental sedan was purchased by the seller in 2022, and it was subsequently refinished in Dark Turquoise Metallic and fitted with a replacement headliner and carpeting. Power is provided by a 462ci V8 linked with a rebuilt three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, a dual-circuit master cylinder, 20″ smoothie-style wheels, upgraded LED lighting, Aqua upholstery, a power-adjustable front bench seat, power windows, a floor console, and a Bluetooth-connected sound system. This Continental sedan is now offered with recent service records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car was finished from the factory in Empress Turquoise Metallic (2) and was refinished in Dark Turquoise Metallic by Danny’s Master Garage of Fullerton, California, in 2023. Exterior details include quad LED headlights, rear-hinged rear doors, a left-side mirror, a Lincoln hood ornament, and chrome bumpers, window surrounds, and trim.

Matte black-finished 20″ smoothie-style wheels feature chrome center caps and are mounted with thin-whitewall tires. Power steering was standard, and braking is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes connected to a dual-circuit master cylinder.

The cabin houses bench seating upholstered in Aqua, and the seller notes that the carpeting and headliner were recently replaced. Amenities include a power-adjustable front seat, power windows, power locks, and a floor console. The Bluetooth-compatible sound system has two amplifiers and a trunk-mounted subwoofer. The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. Three aftermarket auxiliary gauges have been fitted in the floor console. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The 462ci V8 was factory equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 340 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque. Custom pinstriping has been applied to the valve and air cleaner covers.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a rear axle with 2.80:1 gearing. The transmission was rebuilt in 2023.
