This Buick Special is one of a reported 1,577 California GS models produced for 1967 and is powered by a 340ci V8 linked with a two-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in ivory with a black vinyl roof over black vinyl upholstery and was featured on BaT in 2014. Equipment includes Rallye-Style 14″ wheels, power steering, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a push-button radio, and a dual exhaust system. This California GS was acquired by the seller in 2023 and is now offered with a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The California GS package was offered only in California and was based on the thin-pillar Buick Special coupe body and added GS badges and chrome moldings. This example was refinished in ivory under previous ownership and features red pinstriping and a black vinyl roof in addition to chrome bumpers and dual hood scoops. The “I” is missing from the Buick lettering on the trunk lid, and there is missing paint on the leading edge of the right front fender.
