LS1-Powered 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Sport Coupe

This 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Sport Coupe was refurbished under previous ownership, with work including refinishing the exterior, reupholstering the interior, overhauling the brakes and suspension, and installing the 5.7-liter LS1 V8 and 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in pearl white over red vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes staggered-diameter Ridler alloy wheels, front disc brakes, chrome-finished bumpers, a dual exhaust system, air conditioning, a center console, and a Bluetooth stereo. This modified Nova was acquired by the seller in 2021 and is now offered with a spare steering wheel, uninstalled wheel arch trim, refurbishment invoices, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car was refinished in its current shade of pearl white during the refurbishment performed under previous ownership. Equipment includes chrome bumpers, a Nova SS grille badge, a cowl-induction hood, scripted “Super Sport” quarter panel emblems, and a Nova SS trunk trim panel.

Gray-finished Ridler Style 650 alloy wheels measure 17″ up front and 18″ out back and wear 225/45 and 255/35 Kumho Ecsta PS31 tires, respectively. The suspension has been modified with a Church Boys Racing front suspension, Viking adjustable coilovers, a Phase 2 steering box and control arms, eccentric eliminator link adjusters, a Detroit Tuned power rack-and-pinion, Howe ball joints, and a tubular crossmember, steering arms, and tie rod ends. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in Super Sport specification red vinyl with a white accent stripe. Equipment includes a center console with a floor shifter as well as a Vintage Air climate control system, vent windows, SS and Super Sport badging, lap seatbelts, and a push-button Bluetooth stereo. Discoloration is visible on the underside of the dash pad.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 533 miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 features red Corvette-branded coil pack covers and a custom short-ram air intake. Exhaust gases exit through four-into-one headers and a dual exhaust system featuring an X-pipe and Pypes mufflers.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
