Hemi-Powered 1967 Plymouth GTX 4-Speed

This 1967 Plymouth GTX coupe is a factory 440-powered example equipped with a replacement 426ci Hemi V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in copper with a black vinyl roof over black and features manual steering and brakes, interior trim package with bucket seats, a Hurst shifter, MSD electronic ignition, an Accel ignition coil, a dual exhaust system, Stewart-Warner auxiliary gauges, Magnum 500 wheels, and Coker Classic redline tires. The vehicle was acquired by the current owner out of California in 2014. Work performed in 2020 consisted of a brake service and tune-up. This GTX is offered on dealership consignment with a custom car cover and clean New Mexico title.

The car is said to have been repainted in Turbine Bronze Metallic during previous ownership and has a black vinyl roof. Features include dual hood scoops, a flip-open fuel cap, bright wheel well, rocker, and window trim, chrome-finished bumpers, and Hemi GTX badging.

The 14″ Magnum 500 wheels with chrome trim rings wear Coker Classic redline radial tires. Stopping power is provided by manual four-wheel drum brakes. A brake service is said to have been performed in 2020.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dash, door panels, and carpeting. Features include lap belts, vent windows, a Hurst shifter with a white cue ball knob, and black rubber floor mats.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a rectangular 150-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. Stewart-Warner water temperature and oil pressure gauges are mounted in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer indicates 16k miles, approximately 800 of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The factory 440ci V8 has been replaced by a 426ci Hemi V8 and features a dual-quad intake with Edelbrock carburetors, MSD electronic ignition, an Accel ignition coil, and aftermarket spark plug wires. Work performed since 2020 is said to have included a tune-up.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission which is said to be numbers-matching.
