35-Years-Family-Owned 350-Powered 1968 Chevrolet C10 Pickup

This 1968 Chevrolet C10 pickup was acquired from its original owner by the seller’s cousins in 1988, and a three-year body-off refurbishment was completed in 2004. Work included repainting the body and frame, refreshing the interior, and installing a 350ci V8 with a performance camshaft, “double hump” cylinder heads, “ram’s horn” exhaust manifolds, and a dual exhaust system. A three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, front disc brakes, 15″ rally-style wheels, a sliding rear window, a wood-plank bed floor, a receiver hitch, and a cassette stereo are additional elements. The truck has since been kept in storage and on display in a dealership, with approximately 500 miles driven following the project. Acquired by the seller in 2019, this C10 is now offered with service records, invoices, further documentation, an additional spare tire, and a clean Montana title in the seller’s name.

The truck left the factory finished in Light Yellow and Off-White, and it was most recently repainted in October 2003. Equipment includes bright bodyside molding, a sliding rear window, a wood-plank bed floor, a replacement Chevrolet tailgate, a rear step bumper, a receiver hitch, and dual polished exhaust outlets.

Steel 15″ rally wheels wear bright trim rings and 30×9.50″ Firestone Firehawk R4S tires, and a matching spare is stowed under the bed. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The black instrument bezel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 16k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the seller, who states that the odometer has rolled over once.

Before it was installed in 2002, the 350ci V8 was rebuilt by Mick’s Engine Repair of Great Falls, Montana, and it features a performance camshaft, double-hump cylinder heads, and “ram’s horn” exhaust manifolds mated to a dual exhaust system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle. The seller notes a leak from the transmission.
