This 1968 Ford F-100 is a 4×2 long-bed pickup that is powered by a 360ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.25:1 rear axle. Finished in red over a red vinyl and cloth interior, the truck is equipped with towing mirrors, 15″ steel wheels, a dual exhaust system, a rear step bumper, an AM radio, and a heater. It was acquired in 2022 by the selling dealer, who reports that the valve covers, valve cover gaskets, shocks, spark plugs, ignition cap and rotor, engine oil, positive battery terminal, and air cleaner assembly were replaced in preparation for the sale. This F-100 is now offered at no reserve with a clean Oregon title.

The truck was finished at the factory in Rangoon Red (J), and it features a steel rear bumper with a tow ball in addition to towing mirrors, a bright grille and bodyside molding, and white Ford lettering on the tailgate. Dents, dings, paint touch-ups, and other flaws are noted throughout the body.

White-finished 15″ steel wheels wear polished hubcaps and are mounted with 31×10.5″ Kelly Safari DTR tires. The shocks were replaced in June 2023.

The cab is equipped with a bench seat trimmed in red cloth and vinyl along with a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Equipment includes an AM radio, a heater, vent windows, and lap belts. The selling dealer notes that rust damage in the floors was repaired before replacement carpets were installed during current ownership.

The three-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring and fronts a horizontal-sweep 100-mph speedometer as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The 360ci V8 was equipped with a replacement air cleaner assembly, valve covers, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, engine oil, and positive battery cable in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.25:1 rear axle. The truck has a dual exhaust system with glasspack mufflers.

The warranty number reveals that the truck was built at the San Jose, California, assembly plant as a two-wheel drive 1968 F-100 powered by a 360ci V8. Decoding the trim tag reveals the following information:

W.B. 131 – 131″ Wheelbase
