This 1968 Ford F-250 Ranger is a non-running project that was delivered new to Elkhorn Motors of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. It was acquired by the seller from his father in 1985 and reportedly placed in storage around 2008. The truck wears faded blue paintwork over gray and green vinyl and fabric upholstery and features a 360ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes the Camper Special package, a chrome front bumper and trim, a painted rear step bumper, extended side-view mirrors, and white-finished steel wheels. This F-250 Ranger project is being offered at no reserve with a window sticker, a Deluxe Marti report, manufacturer’s literature, spare parts, and an Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The truck was finished from the factory in Harbor Blue (M2098) and now shows fading, scratches, and corrosion. Exterior details include extended side-view mirrors, a chrome front bumper, a painted rear step bumper, and side moldings. The seller notes that the bed mounts are damaged due to a previously-installed cab-over camper, and other imperfections include pitted brightwork, cracked body filler on the roof and nose, and deteriorated weatherstripping. Spare taillight and side marker lenses are included in the sale.

The bench seat is trimmed in gray vinyl with patterned green fabric inserts. The under-dash air conditioning is inoperable, and the truck came equipped with a radio from the factory, though it has been removed. The black carpets are faded and discolored, the seat upholstery is torn, and cracks are present in the dash. The seller notes that the heater core is plugged and the driver-side window regulator is broken.

An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 92k miles, around 70k of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The removed steering wheel will accompany the vehicle.

The 360ci V8 was factory rated at 170 horsepower and is said to have last been running in 2009. The seller reports that the fuel system is in need of service and notes an exhaust leak around the manifold.
