This GMC C/K 1967-1972 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1968 GMC 1500 Custom is a step-side short-bed pickup that was sold new by Valley Garage of Kent, Washington, acquired by the seller around 11 years ago, and is powered by a 250ci inline-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission. The truck is finished in green over green vinyl upholstery and features a wood-lined bed, a digital AM/FM radio, diamond-plate step rear bumper with a ball hitch, black tonneau cover, and steel wheels with chrome hubcaps. This GMC Custom is now offered with a copy of the sales invoice, partial service records, manufacturer’s literature, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in green and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Exterior equipment includes a step-side bed with a wood floor, a diamond-plate step rear bumper with a ball hitch, a black roll-up tonneau cover, quad headlights, and dual side-view mirrors. Various paint chips are present, the windshield also has a chip in it, and the gasket around the fuel filler is cracked.

Body-color 15” steel wheels wear polished and black-accented GMC-branded hubcaps and are mounted with mismatched 235/75 tires. A full-size spare is stowed beneath the truck bed. Braking is provided by drums at all four corners. The paint is chipped on the left-rear wheel. A brake line was reportedly replaced in early 2023.

A black rubber mat covers the floor, and additional details include a GMC-branded digital AM/FM radio, a glove compartment, and lap belts. Scuffs are present on the doors, and the dashboard shows signs of chipped paint.

The light green three-spoke steering wheel shows wear and sits ahead of a body-color metal dashboard housing a 100-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 44k miles, around 300 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
