This Porsche SWB 911 (1965-1968) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1968 Porsche 911S was completed on July 21, 1967 and sold to its original owner in Gladbeck, West Germany before being imported to the US, reportedly in the 1990s. The car was refurbished approximately a decade ago in Light Ivory with rally-style additions including a 100-liter fuel tank, Butlers driving lights, a period rally computer and stopwatches, and an interior roll bar with Repa harnesses. Power is from a replacement 2.0-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle with a dogleg shift pattern. Service in the last six years included mechanical sorting and suspension tuning as well as replacement of the timing chain and a transmission rebuild. This short-wheelbase 911S is offered on dealer consignment with a copy of its Kardex sheet, service records, refurbishment photos, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, an Esses magazine featuring the car, and a clean Arizona title.

Porsche rocker stripes were added along with Hella fog lamps featuring yellow lenses, Butler driving lamps, a Talbot side mirror, and a period German rally badge fixed to the split engine cover grille. The car participated in R Gruppe Napa Valley Treffen in 2017.

New suspension bushings, sway bar end links, and 930 Turbo tie rods were fitted by Patrick Motorsports of Phoenix, Arizona in 2017.
