This Triumph TR5 & TR250 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1968 Triumph TR250 is finished in Jasmine Yellow over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a Pacesetter dual exhaust system, 15″ Panasport wheels, a wood-trimmed dashboard, an AM/FM radio, and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. The car was acquired by the current owner on BaT in April 2020, and subsequent service involved replacement of the black soft top and rear shocks. This TR250 is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a top boot cover, a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Kentucky title.

The car was repainted Jasmine Yellow (34) under previous ownership, and silver accent stripes have been added to the hood and fenders. Additional exterior details include chrome bumpers with bumperettes, side spears, and TR250 badges on the hood, decklid, and rear quarter panels. A replacement black soft top was installed under current ownership, and a matching top boot is included.

Silver 15″ Panasport wheels are mounted with 185/15 Coker Classic redline radial tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums, and the rear shocks are said to have been replaced under current ownership.

The interior features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with white piping, which are complimented by a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a wood veneer dash, a wooden shift knob, lap belts, roll-up windows, and an AM/FM radio.

A wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer, while auxiliary gauges are located in the center of the dash. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 91k miles, approximately 300 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.5-liter inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg side-draft carburetors and was factory rated at 104 horsepower and 143 lb-ft of torque. A Pacesetter exhaust system has been fitted, and the engine bay was refinished under current ownership. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
