This Fiat Nuova 500 (1957-1975) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1969 Fiat 500 was modified in the style of an Abarth 595 SS in Italy under previous ownership. Bodywork was performed before the car was repainted in white, and the interior was also refreshed during the refurbishment. The 499cc inline-twin has been overbored to 650cc displacement and is paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a sliding fabric sunroof, 12″ Abarth-style wheels, a Vitaloni Californian left mirror, Abarth badging, a Jamex steering wheel and bucket seats, and an electric push-button starter. This Abarth-style 500 is now offered by the selling dealer in Piacenza, Italy, with refurbishment photos and Italian registration.

The body was removed from the chassis and portions of the floor, fenders, and rocker panels were repaired with replacement sheet metal prior to a repaint in white as part of the aforementioned refurbishment performed in the mid-2010s. Exterior details include a sliding fabric sunroof, chrome bumpers and trim, a Vitaloni Californian left mirror, and Abarth badging. Imperfections are noted on the right rocker panel.
