This 1969 International Harvester Scout 800A was acquired by seller from the family of the first owner in 2019, reportedly following a period of longterm storage since the mid-1980s. Subsequent work to recommission the truck for road use is said to have included a brake system overhaul, a carburetor rebuild, fluid services, an ignition tune-up, and a replacement fuel pump, radiator, hoses, and tires. The truck is finished in green with a white roof over black vinyl upholstery, and power is provided by a 196ci inline-four mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, 15″ steel wheels, vent windows, and a push-button AM radio. This Scout is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, original dealer sales paperwork, a copy of a the factory service unit record, and a Vermont registration document in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in green and features a removable white hardtop and painted bumpers. Equipment includes dual side mirrors, vent windows, and painted bumpers. Rust is noted on the bumpers, lower rocker panels, and hardtop. The seller states a dent was repaired near the right taillight.

Steel 15″ wheels wear turbine-style hubcaps and are wrapped in 235/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires that were reportedly mounted under current ownership. The front axle features Warn manually locking hubs. The seller notes that four-wheel drum brakes were overhauled after their acquisition.

The seller states service completed in preparation for the sale included an oil change, rebuilding the carburetor, installing a Pertronix electronic ignition system, and replacing the fuel pump, radiator, heater hoses, valve cover, exhaust manifold gaskets, and spark plugs and wires.
