This Volkswagen Beetle (1958-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1969 Volkswagen Beetle was acquired by the seller’s father in 2010 and subsequently underwent a multi-year refurbishment that included a repaint in Cobalt Blue, and reupholstering the interior in gray cloth. Power is provided by a replacement 1,500cc flat-four linked with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes chrome-finished 15″ wheels, a narrowed front end, adjustable rear spring plates, four-wheel disc brakes, a RetroSound digital stereo, JL Audio speakers, an EMPI shifter, and a Tri-Mil header and dual exhaust system.
