This 1970 Chevrolet Impala Custom Coupe is finished in a metallic turquoise over a turquoise interior and is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission. Equipment includes a white vinyl roof covering, Rallye-style wheels, power-assisted brakes, chrome bumpers with overriders, a Delco push-button radio, and an aftermarket Kenwood headunit. The seller acquired the car in May 2021, and work performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included a carburetor overhaul and replacement of a fuel hose. This fourth-generation Impala is offered with a repair manual and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Delivered from the factory in Misty Turquoise with a white vinyl roof, the car features a driver-side mirror, “Impala Custom” and “400” badging, a dual-outlet exhaust system, and bright-finished elements that include window surrounds, side trim, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The seller notes a stone chip in the windshield, along with scratches and paint chips that are depicted in the gallery below.

Silver Rallye-style steel wheels wear polished trim rings with center caps and are mounted with General Touring A/S tires that exhibit cracking. Braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.

The cabin is equipped with front and rear bench seats trimmed in turquoise patterned cloth and vinyl along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Simulated woodgrain trim accents the dash, doors, and steering wheel, and amenities include air conditioning, lap belts, Chevrolet-branded black floor mats, a Delco push-button radio, and an aftermarket Kenwood headunit. The air conditioning does not blow cold, and the seller notes a tear on top of the rear seat back, a crack in the dash trim, and corrosion on the front seat mounts.

The two-spoke steering wheel exhibits wear on its woodgrain trim and frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer indicates 88k miles, less than 1k of which has been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the fuel level gauge is non-operational.

The 400ci Turbo Fire V8 was factory rated at 265 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed TH400 automatic transmission. The carburetor is said to have been overhauled under current ownership, and a fuel hose was replaced.
