This Fiat Nuova 500 (1957-1975) got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1970 Fiat 500L is finished in ivory over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 499cc inline-twin paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes chrome bumpers with nudge bars as well as 12″ steel wheels, a half-length folding black vinyl sunroof, a louvered engine cover, a driver-side mirror, and drum brakes. The car was acquired by the seller and the fluids were changed in preparation for the sale. This Fiat 500L is now offered at no reserve with a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in ivory and was reportedly repainted around 2015. Features include chrome bumpers with nudge bars as well as a half-length folding black vinyl sunroof, a driver-side mirror, quarter vent windows, and a louvered engine cover.
Silver-painted 12″ steel wheels with polished hubcaps are mounted with 125-series Pirelli Cinturato CN54 tires showing 2018 date codes. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The brake fluid was changed in 2023.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. According to the seller, replacement carpets were installed under prior ownership, along with a replacement sunroof latch, door seals, and sun visors. Additional amenities include a center storage tray and manual-crank windows.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a Veglia Borletti 130-km/h speedometer with an inset fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 32k kilometers (~20k miles), approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The rear-mounted 499cc inline-twin is fed by a single carburetor and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The oil and transmission fluids were changed in preparation for the sale.
