This Ford F-Series 1967-1972 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1970 Ford F-250 was sold in March 1970 to a customer in Nevada who kept it for more than 20 years. It is finished in Boxwood Green and New Lime Green paint with a green interior and is powered by a 360ci V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller reportedly acquired the truck from its second owner in late 2018, and service performed since included a carburetor rebuild, Pertronix ignition installation, and an oil change. This fifth-generation F-series is offered with its build sheet, factory manual, maintenance logs, service receipts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body was refinished in its factory two-tone Boxwood Green and New Lime Green in October 1992, at which time the truck wore its current blue California license plates according to the accompanying invoice for the paintwork. Areas of corrosion on the bed, door jambs, and rain gutters are shown in detail in the photo gallery below.

White-painted steel wheels wear factory hubcaps mounted on BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires. Under current ownership a set of new brake rotors, calipers, and pads reportedly were installed up front. The rear drum brakes also were refurbished with new pads, springs, and wheel cylinders.

A new gauge bezel has been fitted by the seller, and the addition of an armrest with cupholders is shown above, as are a cassette deck and a carpeted pad atop the dashboard. Close-up photos in the gallery display the overall condition of the interior materials and finishes. The 5-digit odometer shows just under 83k miles, approximately 1,500 of which came during the seller’s 6-month ownership. True mileage is unknown.
