This Volkswagen Karmann Ghia got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was refurbished under previous ownership, with work including a repaint in Yukon Yellow with a black roof, retrimming the interior, and installing a MoFoCo Enterprises-built 2,165cc flat-four and Rancho four-speed manual transaxle. The car is also equipped with 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, front and rear swaybars, chrome bumpers with overriders, and a Becker-style AM/FM/CD stereo. The seller acquired the car on BaT in November 2018, and subsequent service is said to have included replacing the front dashboard speaker, fuel filter, fuel-sending unit, battery, and ignition components. This Karman Ghia is now offered with a car cover and a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name.

The car was refinished in Yukon Yellow (L19k) with a black top by AJ’s Art Works of West Columbia, South Carolina, in November 2012. Exterior details include a vented engine lid as well as a left mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, bright trim, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders. The seller notes the front-right blinker indicator has been replaced.

Steel 15″ wheels wear chrome VW-logo covers and are mounted with Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. An Aircooled.net front disc brake kit, an EMPI rear disc brake kit, and stainless-steel brake hoses were installed during prior ownership, and the suspension was overhauled with urethane bushings and the addition of front and rear swaybars.
