1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4×4 4-Speed

This 1971 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4×4 was acquired by the seller in 2016 after the truck was refurbished under prior ownership. Finished in orange over black vinyl upholstery, the truck is powered by a replacement 5.7-liter V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a removable black hardtop, 15″ steel wheels, Warn manually locking front hubs, power-assisted front disc brakes, a suspension lift kit, a FAST fuel injection system, full-length headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, air conditioning, a roll bar, and a retro-style digital radio. This K5 Blazer is offered with an owner’s manual, a sales brochure, parts receipts, refurbishment photos, a removed engine, a black bikini top, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body was removed from the frame and repainted in orange during the refurbishment, at which time sheet metal repairs were performed and the windshield was replaced. Exterior details include a removable black hardtop, chrome-finished bumpers, K/5 Blazer and 350 badging, a receiver hitch, and dual exhaust outlets exiting behind each rear wheel. A black bikini top is included in the sale.

The 15″ steel wheels wear bright trim rings and are mounted with 32×11.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The truck is equipped with power steering as well as Warn manually locking front hubs, and a lifted suspension with a steering stabilizer is installed. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cab features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were reupholstered in black vinyl Bestop covers, while the exposed metal surfaces are finished in orange. Dynamat sound-deadening material was applied under the rubberized flooring, and amenities include air conditioning, three-point seatbelts for the front occupants, lap belts for the rear occupants, a roll bar, a locking center console, and a retro-style digital radio linked to speakers mounted in each kick panel. The Service Parts Identification Tag is missing from the inside of the glove box lid.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a central tachometer, a 100-mph speedometer, and supplementary gauges for fuel level, battery status, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 23k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 5.7-liter crate V8 was installed under prior ownership and is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and valve covers as well as a FAST EZ-EFI fuel injection system, a Summit serpentine drive kit, long-tube headers, and an aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan.

Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. A fabricated exhaust system is installed, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
