This Citroen DS got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1971 Citroën ID19 is finished in grey over a light brown leather interior and underwent a refurbishment with marque specialist Citroën Concours between 2008 and 2010. It is equipped with European-market directional headlights, air conditioning, and Pallas trim. The 1.9-liter inline-four and 4-speed manual gearbox were rebuilt during the refurbishment along with the brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. Approximately 2k miles have been added since the work was completed, and service in late 2018 included five reconditioned suspension spheres, fresh fluids, valve adjustment, brake fluid flush, a tune-up, and more. This ID19 is now offered by the selling dealer with records from the refurbishment and a Missouri title.

The body has been repainted in grey with a matching roof panel, and it was previously finished in dark green as shown in the gallery below. The chrome, stainless, and aluminum trim was renewed during the refurbishment, and a set of European-market directional headlights were added. A few chips have accumulated in the finish since the work was completed, which are highlighted in the gallery below.

All five suspension spheres were replaced about 300 miles ago in 2018. Photos of the various ride-height settings are provided, along with a video demonstrating the hydropneumatic suspension.

Citroën Concours added a Pallas interior, including brown leather seat upholstery, matching carpet, additional sound insulation, and padded door panels.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts the US-market speedometer, and controls for the A/C system are located on the center of the dash. 61k miles are shown on the US-market speedometer, approximately 2k of which have been added since the refurbishment was completed. The clock is currently inoperable, and a new fuel level sending unit was installed last week.

Citroën Concours reconditioned the 1.9-liter inline-four and 4-speed manual gearbox. A rebuilt alternator and water pump were installed at this time, along with a re-cored radiator and ceramic-coated header. Numerous components were also powder coated, and the inboard-front hydraulic and parking brake systems were overhauled. Service in 2018 included a tune-up and valve adjustment, as well as fresh fluids for the engine, gearbox, and brakes.
