This Datsun 240Z got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1971 Datsun 240Z is said to have been acquired new in Monterey, California, in 1972 and was refurbished in 2000, after which the car was acquired by the seller in 2021. Power comes from a 2.4-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes aftermarket wheels, twin SU carburetors, power-assisted front disc brakes, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an aftermarket stereo with rear-mounted speakers. The brake master cylinder was replaced in preparation for the sale along with tuning the carburetors and sorting electrical issues. This S30 is offered with multiple keys, service and refurbishment receipts, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted in factory Sunshine Yellow (919) in 2000 and features re-plated chrome bumpers with overriders, aftermarket side-view mirrors, and black trim. Series 1 equipment includes a locking fuel door, “240Z” B-pillar badging, vertical rear defroster elements, and vents on the rear hatch. The paint is bubbling on the rear wheel arches and corrosion is visible on the bumpers, both of which are shown in detail in the gallery. The reverse-light switch was replaced in February 2022.
