This Ford F-Series 1967-1972 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1971 Ford F-100 Sport Custom is powered by a 360ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Boxwood Green over green vinyl and cloth. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a sliding rear window, a lockable bedside toolbox, power-assisted drum brakes, power steering, 15″ steel wheels with polished hubcaps, an auxiliary fuel tank, and an AM radio. The seller acquired the truck on BaT in March 2019, and subsequent work is said to have included replacing the battery, starter, thermostat, and radiator hoses. This bumpside F-100 is now offered with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in Boxwood Green and was repainted some time ago. Features include a Styleside bed as well as dual side mirrors, a rear step bumper, a 1970 F-series grille insert, a sliding rear window, a lockable bedside toolbox, and vent windows. Fading and corrosion are noted throughout the body, and there is rust on the cab corners, side seams, passenger floor, and bed. There are dents in the passenger-side fender and driver-side door and holes where previous sideview mirrors were attached. Several trim pieces are affixed with screws.

The 15″ steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and trim rings, and they are mounted with 235/75 Goodyear Wrangler Radial tires. The truck was factory equipped with power-assisted steering, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal-sweep 100-mph speedometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 27k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The fuel level gauge does not read above three-quarters of a tank and the horn is disconnected.

The 360ci V8 was factory rated at 215 horsepower and 327 lb-ft of torque, and an early-style auxiliary fuel tank has been added. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. According to the seller, the battery, starter, thermostat, and radiator cap and hoses were replaced in October 2019. An oil change was performed and the transmission fluid was replaced in October 2023. The engine burns oil and smokes at idle.

The Pennsylvania title lists “Mileage Exceeds the Mechanical Limits” under the odometer status.
