This 1972 Barth motorhome is a 25′ model that is outfitted with a kitchenette, a dinette, a bathroom, and a lounge/sleeping area. The motorhome is powered by a 402ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and features include an aluminum body, black vinyl upholstery, rooftop solar panels, a reverse-view camera, an Alpine audio system, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a furnace, an on-demand water heater, a generator, and an awning. The seller acquired the vehicle in 2021, and subsequent work is said to have involved refreshing the interior, applying custom finishes on the cabinets, installing window blinds, flushing and cleaning the fuel tank, and replacing the fuel pump, brake components, carburetor, distributor, wheels, and tires. This Barth motorhome is offered with manufacturer’s literature and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Barth motorhomes were manufactured in Milford, Indiana, between 1969 and 1998. This example features an aluminum body, chrome bumpers, sliding side windows, a retractable awning, a rear ladder, and a receiver hitch. Additional equipment includes roof-top solar panels, equipment compartments, and shore connections for water and power. Dents are visible above the rear clearance lights and on the left-rear body panel, and the left windshield panel is cracked. The seller notes that a temporary aluminum panel has been fitted over the generator compartment.

Alcoa 16″ alloy wheels wear 215/85 Firestone Transforce HT2 tires, and stopping power is from front disc and rear drum brakes. Work performed under current ownership reportedly included replacing the wheels, tires, and brake components.

The front cabin houses captain’s chairs upholstered in black vinyl with cloth centers. Features include a black dashboard and side panels, woodgrain flooring, sliding side windows, a reverse-view camera, shoulder belts, overhead storage, and a Kienzle analog clock.

The two-spoke steering wheel is fitted with a Chevrolet-logo horn button and sits ahead of 100-mph speedometer, an aftermarket 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for battery charge, oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The kitchenette is outfitted with a white countertop, a four-burner cooktop, a double-basin sink, a Magic Chef oven, an Insta-matic refrigerator, overhead cabinets, and under-counter storage. The dinette features bench seating and a mother-of-pearl inlaid table that folds down to form a sleeping surface. The seller applied a custom finish to the cabinet doors and drawer faces. Additional work performed under current ownership is said to have included installing vinyl flooring, blackout blinds, and a retractable projection screen as well as reupholstering the dinette seating and replacing the lounge cushions, toilet, and freshwater pump.

The central lounge area is furnished with two sofas that can be combined to form a king-size sleeping surface, and features consist of reading lights, overhead cabinets, sliding windows, audio speakers, and a privacy curtain. The adjacent bathroom is equipped with a shower, a toilet, a sink, a vanity, and a toiletries cabinet with a mirror. House equipment includes a Frigiking ceiling-mounted air conditioner, a furnace, a Truma on-demand water heater, an Alpine audio system with a subwoofer and Bluetooth connectivity, a Cummins generator, a Go-Power solar charge controller, and a Xantrex Freedom X 2,000-watt inverter with a Bluetooth-enabled monitor.

The 402ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Service under current ownership reportedly involved flushing the fuel tank, installing an HEI distributor, and replacing the carburetor, fuel lines, fuel pump, spark plugs and wires, and accessory belts. The oil was changed in 2023.
