1972 Chevrolet Corvette

This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is finished in metallic blue over black upholstery and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes removable body-colored roof panels, Rallye-style 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a rear-mounted luggage rack, air conditioning, power steering, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio. The car is said to have been acquired by the current owner in 2004, and service performed in January 2022 included an oil change. This C3 Corvette is offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner with removed and spare parts, service records, and a clean North Carolina title in the current owner’s name.

The fiberglass body was finished from the factory in Bryar Blue Metallic (945) and features removable body-colored roof panels, fender vents, chrome bumpers and rocker panel trim, a rear-mounted luggage rack, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint chips and scrapes are depicted in the photo gallery below, along with close-up photos showing the finish and trim.

Rallye-style 15″ steel wheels wear replacement trim rings with hubcaps and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that show date codes from 2021. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.

The cabin features high-back bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery and are complimented by a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power steering, hand-crank side windows, Corvette-branded floor mats, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio.

A three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and center stack-mounted auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer is non-functional and indicates under 14k miles. True mileage is unknown.

The 350ci V8 features a replacement carburetor, a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner, and MSD electronic ignition. An oil change was performed in January 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is noted on underside surfaces, and additional underbody images are included in the gallery below.

H14: March 14, 1972 production
Trim 400: Black Vinyl upholstery
Paint 945: Bryar Blue Metallic exterior color
