1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4×4 4-Speed

This 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer was acquired by the seller in November 2016 and subsequently underwent a refurbishment, with work including a repaint in green, installation of sound-deadening material, a rear bench seat, a CD stereo, and a Vintage Air climate-control system, as well as replacement of the tailgate, gas tank, wheel cylinders, and brake components. The truck is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and equipment includes a white hardtop, 15″ wheels, manually locking front hubs, and black vinyl upholstery. This Blazer is offered with records from current ownership, refurbishment photos, a black bikini roof, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The body was stripped, rust and dents were repaired, and the truck is said to have been refinished in Amber Sherwood Green during the refurbishment conducted under current ownership. Other work included replacing the door handles, locks, emblems, mirrors, bumpers, grille, lights, tailgate, and windshield. The removable white fiberglass top received a replacement hatch lock, glass, seals, gaskets, and rear-window lift supports. Equipment includes a receiver hitch and a black bikini soft top.

Silver 15″ wheels with bright trim rings wear 31×10.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires, and the front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs. The seller reports that the brake pads, wheel cylinders, brake lines, front discs, brake hoses, and rear drums have been replaced along with the steering gearbox and shocks.

The cabin features black vinyl upholstery on the seats along with matching door panels, carpeting, and painted metal surfaces. Amenities include rubber floor mats, an AM push-button radio, Vintage Air climate control, a glovebox, a roll bar, and a concealed CD stereo mounted in the center console. Sound-deadening material was installed in the cab along with a rear bench seat, and the window assemblies and regulators were replaced.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a fuel-level gauge, and a Bosch tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, approximately 3k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 350ci V8 features a Quadrajet carburetor that reportedly was rebuilt. Other service under current ownership is said to have included replacing the alternator, battery, HEI distributor, spark-plug wires, umbrella-valve seals, and O-rings. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller reports that the exhaust, fuel tank, transfer-case skid plate, and universal joints have been replaced under current ownership. The underside of the fuel tank is dented.
