This Dodge Challenger (1970-1974) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1972 Dodge Challenger is finished in blue over black vinyl upholstery and powered by a replacement 340ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black vinyl roof cover, 18″ Foose wheels, front disc brakes, woodgrain interior trim, a center console, and a Sony stereo. The seller acquired the car in April 2011, and work completed in 2016 included repainting the body, rebuilding the engine, and refreshing the brakes and suspension. This Challenger is offered with a removed intake manifold, an uninstalled trunk liner, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car was reportedly repainted in its current shade of blue with a black vinyl roof cover in 2016. Additional features include a vented hood, quick-access fuel door, driver-side mirror, dual-exit exhaust, and chrome trim on the bumpers, grille, wheel arches, and door hardware.

The seller notes that the instrument panel needs work. The five-digit odometer indicates 77k miles, approximately 150 of which have been added by the seller.

The replacement 340ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt in 2016 using a replacement crankshaft, camshaft, pistons, rods, and bearing surfaces. Additional work completed at that time includes rebuilding the J-style heads, and replacing the engine wiring, gas tank, fuel level sender, fuel pump, water pump, oil pump, starter, flywheel, and exhaust system.
