This 1972 Plymouth Satellite Custom sedan was initially delivered to Kapus-Erickson Plymouth of Superior, Wisconsin, in November 1971. The car is powered by a 318ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in gold over beige vinyl and cloth upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, hubcaps, power steering, bench seats, an AM radio, and dual exhaust. The car was acquired by the seller in early 2022, and subsequent work reportedly included installing the exhaust system as well as replacing the shocks, brake master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, starter, fuel pump, battery, fuel filter, and washer-fluid reservoir. This four-door Satellite is now offered at no reserve with spare parts, a spare set of wheels and tires, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The car left the factory in Gold Leaf Metallic (GY8) and was reportedly refinished under previous ownership. Exterior details include a 1971 Satellite grille, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, and bright trim and side moldings. Close-up photos of chips and blemishes in the paint and a chip in the windshield are presented in the gallery below. The removed 1972 grille is included in the sale.

The brown carpeting was also reportedly replaced under current ownership, and additional equipment includes a heater, a Chrysler Solid State AM radio, a “Spot Check” service-record cardholder, and a clear plastic rear-seat cover. The seller notes that the front headrests are discolored, the door panels are worn, holes are visible in the headliner and front seatback, paint is flaking from the door bottoms and door jambs, and corrosion is visible on the front doorsill plates and at the right side of the trunk.
