This Audi C1 100 got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1973 Audi 100 LS was purchased new by the seller on June 29, 1973, from Green Motors Porsche Audi in Norwalk, California. The car is finished in Agate Brown over tan cloth upholstery and powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 14″ steel wheels, inboard front disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, air conditioning, and a Clarion AM/FM stereo. This 100 LS is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The body is finished in Agate Brown (L86Z) and features polished bumpers and trim, quad headlamps, a driver-side mirror, and a single exhaust outlet. The seller notes that the window and door seals are dry and cracking, and dents on the roof and decklid are pictured below along with dings and scratches around the vehicle.

The 14″ steel wheels wear bright hubcaps, trim rings, and older 195/70 Dunlop SP40 A/S tires. Close-up photos of each wheel and tire are shown in the gallery below. Stopping power is provided by inboard front disc brakes and rear drums.

The front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in patterned tan fabric in the mid-1990s according to the seller, who notes the dashboard has also been recovered in tan vinyl. Interior elements include a perforated headliner, wood trim, carpeted floor mats, air conditioning, and a Clarion AM/FM stereo. Flaws on C-pillar fabric and delaminating rubber on the front-right window frame are noted.

A three-spoke steering wheel with an aftermarket cover fronts a central tachometer and quartz clock flanked by a 100-mph speedometer and a combination gauge with readouts for oil temperature and fuel level. The speedometer works intermittently and responds slowly, and the cluster lens is loose. The five-digit odometer has rolled over once according to the seller and shows just under 51k miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 1.9-liter inline-four was factory rated at 91 horsepower and 111 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes the engine was rebuilt in 1995 and an upgraded engine mount was also added. The most recent oil change was carried out in 2021. Noise is reported from the harmonic balancer.
