This 1973 BMW 2002tii was originally delivered to Hoffman Motors in New York City and is said to have been sold new in California to jazz musician Toshiko Akiyoshi. The car was moved back to New York by the original owner in the 1980s and was acquired by the seller in 2015. The car is finished in beige over a brown interior and is powered by a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional features include 13″ wheels and a Blaupunkt cassette player. The seller states that the battery and radiator were replaced in 2015. This 2002tii is now offered with service records and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.

The seller states that a repaint in the factory Sahara (006) was carried out by the original owner. Noted flaws include oxidation on the upper trim and rust in the front and rear bumpers. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the seller.
