This Fiat 124 Sedan got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1973 Fiat 124 Special 1400 sedan is finished in green over a multi-tone interior and powered by a 1.4-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a Nardi steering wheel, a push-button radio, a Weber carburetor, and 13″ Speedline wheels. Since acquiring the car in 2014, the seller has changed the oil, battery, spark plugs, and air filter in addition to driving approximately 3k miles. This 124 is now offered with miscellaneous spare parts, the removed factory wheels and trim, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted in green during prior ownership, and the bumpers were also re-chromed. Noted flaws include bubbling paint on the lower portion of the driver’s door, and a weak driver’s door handle. Close-up photos of the paint and trim can be viewed in the gallery below.

Replacement Veglia instrumentation sourced from a Fiat 850 Coupe includes a 110-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and inset gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer indicates just under 20k miles, 3k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.

The 1,438cc OHV inline-four has been fitted with a Weber 32 DMSA carburetor, an electric fuel pump, and a Marelli electronic ignition system. A 90-amp alternator from a Ford Tempo has been installed, and the intake manifold coolant passage is said to have been disconnected. The seller changed the oil, battery, spark plugs, and air filter, while maintenance during prior ownership reportedly included a rebuild of the starter, a valve adjustment, and replacement of the valve cover gasket, head gasket, camshaft, crank sprockets, and camshaft drive chain. A belt squeak is noted on start-up.
