This 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring was acquired by its current owner 18 years ago for use in car shows and other events. The car is finished in metallic teal over a matching interior, and power is from a 318ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a black vinyl roof, chrome 15″ Cragar wheels, bench seats, a factory AM radio, and an air conditioner. Service throughout current ownership has been carried out primarily by the seller up to the most recent oil change in January 2019. This Satellite Sebring is offered at no reserve with factory literature and a clean Georgia title in the name of the seller’s mother.
The exterior is finished in metallic teal and features a black vinyl cover on the roof, chrome bumpers and trim, and single sideview mirror. Close-up photos of the roof and badges are provided in the gallery below.
Chrome 15″ five-spoke Cragar wheels are fitted with 235/75 Uniroyal Tiger Paw white-letter tires, and a steel spare is stored in the trunk along with a jack. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes.
The cabin is upholstered in green vinyl on the front and rear bench seats with a matching dashboard, doors, and carpeting as well as faux burl wood trim. Amenities include an air conditioner and heater, lap belts, a glovebox, chrome scuff plates, and Satellite-embroidered floor mats.
A stock steering wheel fronts horizontal instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for amperage, temperature, and fuel level. Aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges have been added under the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 5k of which were added during the past 18 years. Total mileage is unknown.
The 318ci V8 features chrome Edelbrock valve covers and is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes that service including bi-annual oil changes has been performed at the family shop, with the most in January 2019.
