This 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina is finished in Beige Chiaro Metallic with a saddle interior and has been minimally modified with the installation of an exhaust header, aftermarket suspension and sports seats from a Miata. The car was acquired from Oregon in 2014 by a local collector who moved it to Pennsylvania. It was acquired last December by the selling dealer, and retains a 2.0L twin cam inline-four paired to a rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission and equipped with SPICA fuel injection. Though lacking owner and service history, the car is believed to have been well-maintained and was given a full oil change service by the seller following its purchase. This Alfa is being offered at no reserve and is sold with a clean Pennsylvania title in the selling dealer’s name.
The car appears to have been repainted in the current Beige Chiaro Metallic color, and corrosion and rust bubbles are shown along the rockers in the gallery. 14″ steel wheels are fitted with a matching set of Michelin tires and accompanied by aftermarket shocks.
Interior modifications are reportedly limited to the installation of a VDO oil pressure gauge in place of the clock, a steering wheel from a later Spider, and Miata sports seats. All instrumentation, controls, and electrics remain fully functional and the original clock, seats, and replacement headline are included. Noted cosmetic flaws include a few splits in the plastic dashboard and staining to the headliner. Mileage on the five-digit odometer is shown as 6,082.
The 2.0L (1962cc) Twin Cam inline-four is paired with a rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission and retains its SPICA fuel injection and has been modified with an aftermarket exhaust header. Service history from prior owners is not available, and the engine was recently serviced by the selling dealer with an oil and filter change.
Walkthrough and startup videos of the car can be seen above.
Several photos of the car’s underside can be seen in the gallery below. Given the car’s West Coast origins, the floors and rockers are said to remain solid according to the seller. Included in the sale are the original owner’s manual and invoice for the transmission rebuild.
