This Datsun 260Z got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1974 Datsun 260Z was reportedly purchased new by the seller in July 1974 and is finished in blue over black vinyl. Power comes from a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes 14″ American Racing alloy wheels, front disc brakes, dual Weber carburetors, rear window louvers, chrome bumpers, and a factory push-button radio. The brake fluid, clutch fluid, coolant, and engine oil were changed in August 2021. This 260Z is offered at no reserve with a car cover, a maintenance log book, spare parts, an owner’s manual, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.

The exterior is finished in dark blue and features chrome bumpers and window trim, rear window louvers, mud flaps, and a power antenna. The seller notes the driver-side fender has been repainted along with portions of the hood and passenger side quarter panel. There is a chip in the windshield, water spots in the paint, and corrosion can be seen on the inner wheel arch and rocker panels in the gallery below.

The 14″ American Racing alloy wheels wear Goodyear Tiempo P195/75 tires. The car is equipped with four wheel independent suspension along with front disc brakes and rear drums. The brake fluid was flushed in August 2021. The alloy wheels show corrosion, and the seller notes the brake master cylinder reservoir cap seals and brake calipers, discs, and drums are in need of replacement. The factory wheels and hub caps are included in the sale.

The 2.6L inline-six is equipped with dual Weber carburetors. Service completed in August 2021 is said to have included changing the clutch fluid, coolant, and engine oil. The seller notes that there is a coolant leak, the clutch master cylinder needs to be replaced, and gas leaks from the driver side vent line when the gas tank is filled. The removed carburetors are included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. The car has been undercoated, and corrosion is present on the underside.
